How credits work

Credits balance, when they are charged, how video duration and image quality affect cost, refunds on failures, and tracking usage on the dashboard.

Open in dashboard

Your credit balance

Credits are stored on your account profile. The top bar and Dashboard home show your current balance.

Credits are added when you subscribe, when a plan renews, or when you purchase a credit pack. According to our Pricing page, purchased credits do not expire.

When credits are consumed

Credits are reserved when you submit a generation task (not when you merely open a tool).

Image tasks typically charge a flat amount per image, sometimes varying by quality tier (1K, 2K, 4K).

Video tasks charge based on duration in seconds, and may vary by resolution and whether sound is enabled.

The Generate button displays the estimated total—for example, “Generate · 24 credits”—before you confirm.

How to preview cost before generating

Change model, duration, quality, or sound settings and wait for the estimate to refresh on the Generate button.

If the estimate seems high, shorten video duration, lower resolution, or disable sound before submitting.

  • Images: fewer outputs or lower quality tier usually costs less
  • Videos: shorter clips and 480p/720p often cost less than 1080p or 4K
  • Always read the button label immediately before clicking Generate

Credits when a job fails

If a task fails due to a platform or provider error, credits may be returned to your balance via the credit ledger. This reduces the cost of retries.

Subscription payments and satisfaction with artistic results are separate topics—see Refunds and cancellations and our Refund Policy.

Track usage on the dashboard

Dashboard home summarizes how you spend credits and what you produce:

  • Credits used today and lifetime credits used
  • Successful image and video counts (today and lifetime)
  • Charts for the last 7 or 30 days: daily credits, outputs by module, top tools, and top models
