User media uploads are capped at 500 MB per file at the platform storage layer. Individual UI hints may show lower practical limits (for example, 10 MB on frame slots).
Compress long screen recordings before upload to avoid timeouts.
Reference video (Video to Video)
All must be true:
- Between 1 and 3 clips
- Total duration across clips ≤ 15 seconds
- Each clip height between 480 and 720 pixels
- No footage containing real people
Images and audio in video tools
Limits depend on the tool:
- Multi-images to Video: 1–9 images required; optional audio ≤ 15s across up to 3 files
- Video to Video: up to 9 optional images; optional audio ≤ 15s across up to 3 files
- Image to Video frames: JPEG, PNG, or WebP stills
Restricted content
Reference video must not contain real people. Violations can fail validation or lead to account restrictions under our Content Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
When in doubt, use synthetic, animated, or licensed stock without recognizable individuals.
Quick fixes for upload errors
Try these before contacting support:
- Re-encode to a common MP4/H.264 profile
- Scale video height into the 480–720px band
- Trim clips so the combined reference duration is ≤ 15s
- Remove audio tracks you do not need to reduce file size
